Hi, I’m Kaitlyn.

I’m a beauty editor with a decade of experience in the editorial industry. I built my career by combining my passion for writing and content creation with my love for beauty and wellness.

It all began while I was in college. At 21, I moved across the country to pursue an editorial internship in Los Angeles with Byrdie, the digital beauty, wellness, and fashion publication. There, I honed my writing skills, learning how to pitch, interview, and edit. I also learned the ins and outs of editorial—refining my approach to creating
different types of content such as features, SEO, and news. I took a special interest in the latter, eventually becoming the brand’s contributing editor and focusing on covering timely topics.

Since then, I’ve pitched, written, and edited thousands of articles for industry-leading brands and publications. My work can be found on sites such as Who What Wear, The Zoe Report, Bustle, InStyle, and more. Furthermore, my work has been syndicated to publications like Vogue and Marie Claire.

These days, I live and work remotely in my hometown in Northern Michigan. I continue to write beauty and wellness content as Who What Wear’s Associate Beauty Editor. When I’m not online, you can find me drinking cappuccinos at a local coffee shop, roaming an independent bookstore, or testing buzzy new beauty products.
